Peaceful Chapel
Ecumenical services are held weekly in our well appointed and tasteful chapel. Residents and their guests are welcome to use the chapel for quiet prayer and mediation.
Dining Room (The Garden Room)
- We have hot meals that are provided five evenings per week, for purchasing.
- Special events and holidays are celebrated and the residents enjoy the opportunity to entertain their families and friends in the Garden Room for a cost.

Convenient Personal Services
Van Service
The Harmer House Van is used for regular Thursday grocery shopping and for church on Sundays. Tickets can be purchased at the front office.
Laundry
Coin-operated facilities are available on each floor.
Other Modes of Transportation
OC Transpo provides transportation service to and from the front entrance directly to Bayshore Shopping Center.

Beauty Parlour
The beauty parlour is open 4 - 5 days a week and has two hairstylists for your convenience.
Medical Services
A physician attends Harmer House by appointment.
Para-Med services are available through CCAC.
Foot care is offered by the Western Ottawa Community Resource Center by appointment for a small fee.
Pharmacy services such as deliveries of prescriptions and medical supplies are available in the Bells Corners area. Prescriptions can be faxed to them from the Harmer House administration office.
Resident Organized Activities
Bingo, Bridge, Chapel, Exercise, Euchre, Bake Sales, Pub Nights, Movie Nights, Pot Lucks, Barbeques and Socials.
